*RUBARB took a crew to the zoo for the “Poetry Debut”–  poetry was installed all around the zoo, right by the various exhibits and animals.  We strolled around, watched the creatures, pet some animals, and played in a torrential downpour.  Thanks to the New Orleans Public LIbrary for the free tickets!

*3 RUBARB kids got to experience the 1st annual bike rodeo, which taught them about bike safety, hand signals, and road signs.  A bicycle 2nd line passed us by and we ended the day with natural frozen pops at the Crescent City Farmers Market.  yum!

Closed in August for the Summer

RUBARB has remained open throughout the pandemic and volunteers are taking a much needed summer break. Unfortunately we will only be open 2 more Mondays 3-7pm (July 20 and July 27th) and will be closed all of August. Stay tuned to our Fall hours.
