Thank you to all the fabulous donors and volunteers who have come to RUBARB throughout October dropping off exciting donations such as bike frames, high end parts, books and volunteering their time and expertise to help RUBARB out! If you are interested in volunteering your time with RUBARB, you don’t need to know anything about bikes as long as you want to put your best attributes to work to keep RUBARB twirling into the future, please reach out to us at buildit (a) rubarbike.org. Also if you’d like to learn more about us, come to our monthly meeting on the 3rd Wed of every month at 7pm.

For the fifth consecutive year, NOLA to Angola bike ride rolled out to Angola State Prison over the October weekend of the 16-18th. Several RUBARB volunteers raised money for the Cornerstone Bus Project which is a crucial bus service for families of incarcerated men and women throughout the State of Lousiana. For more information about the bus schedule, please click here. We are all proud of Greg, Liz, Caleb, Simbi, Darren, all the riders, and organizers who raised over $5,000 for families to continue to stay connected to their loved ones.
